Carigiet also illustrated a few other less-known books, now out of print.

"We enter again that high, cold beautiful world of the Engadine in Switzerland. Here is a hard-working small boy who wants to lead the Procession of Bells...The verses will appeal widely to the very young, for they have a clever way of pointing to what is in the pictures...welcome to Ursli!" New York Herald Tribune

Schellen-Ursli

"A companion to A BELL FOR URSLI, this exceptionally lovely Swiss picture book will bring equal joy to small children. They will love the rhyming verses, full of imagination and gaiety, and the large, richly colored pictures showing Florina against the wild beauty of the mountains." - Chicago Tribune

Florina and the Wild Bird 1952 New York Times' Ten Best Children's Books, 1953
Flurina und das Wildvglein

"This lovely book somehow has the old-fashioned flavor of the classic picture book....The pictures, with all their fascinating detail, tell the story of Florina, caught by an avalanche in the Swiss Alps and rescued by Ursli in time to win the prize for the best decorated sled in the children's sledding party." - Horn Book NEW: The Snowstorm 1953
Der Grosse Schnee

Anton the goatherd lives in a little village high up in the Swiss Alps. Every day during the summer, he leads the village's flock of goats up the mountain and watches them while they graze in the meadow. His three favorites are old Stina's goats, Zack, Zick and Zock, and when one day the three disappear, Anton is heartbroken. Bravely he sets out with his dog Fipsi to find Zack, Zick and Zock, as a storm rages and thunder rolls across the mountains. - from the original jacket sleeve Anton the Goatherd - out of print 1965
